VISITING BY BUS

Buses run half-hourly during the day from Oxford via Woodstock to Witney and stop at a bus stop outside Hanborough rail station entrance which is just next to the museum.
The frequency of the Sunday service has been increased from hourly to half-hourly. An hourly service runs in the evenings until after midnight seven days a week.
Visitors to the museum from Oxford, Summertown and Kidlington can now catch a direct bus to Hanborough.
From 1st January until 30 June 2023 the maximum cost of a single bus fare is £2 under the government’s Bus Fare Cap scheme, so visitors will not pay more than £4 to travel to the museum.

This new service is being funded by Oxfordshire County Council through the national Supported Bus Services Fund - an investment for local authorities to help provide more bus services in their area.
VISITING BY TRAIN
Oxford Bus Museum is located right beside Hanborough railway station, Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire, OX29 8LA, which by train is just 10 minutes (one station) away from Oxford Railway Station.

Services by Great Western Railway run hourly on their route from London Paddington to Worcester via Reading, Oxford, Hanborough, and Evesham.
VISITING BY CAR
Head for OX29 8LA in Long Hanborough village on the A4095 Bicester - Witney road.
Look out for the brown 'Transport Museum' signs.
From further afield, leave the M40 at Junction 9, head south-bound on the A34
then follow signs for Blenheim Palace.
Parking
Our free car park has 15 spaces including one wide disabled parking space.
Additional car parking is available at the Hanborough rail station car park.
Charges apply Wednesdays & Saturdays.
